Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways
Lots of great giveaways!

Whatever is wrong with me won't let go - doing a lot of laying down.  But have no commitments tomorrow, so hope to get something done if I feel well in the morning.  My hexie progress is not much, but I did progress - sigh.
Actually, my main problem is I have run out of the paper templates.  I have another package somewhere, but have not been able to find it.
A good sign I have to stop everything and sort out the sewing room again - LOL.  I could make some, however I've found that for best results it's best to continue how I started a project - whether it's a ruler, a template, or a machine even.

What are you up to? Would love to see your eye candy whether hexies or not.  Linky below.  It closes Monday night at midnight.  And we'd (that's Billie and me) love to see ones already finished or a while ago - they'll be new to us!

  1. I love the colors. I just cleaned my room a couple of days ago and it's a mess all over again.

  3. Hey, I didn't have anything new to show you this week, as I have been working on the denim quilt. But I put up an old blogpost with some ideas for Christmas presents made of hexagons. Both the pouch and the bookmarks are possible to make lots of before Christmas. A nice weekend to all!

  4. I hope you feel better soon. My sewing room is sending me similar messages. I think maybe today's the day I make some progress there ... so I will stop lamenting the state of that room and feel like working on other things.

  6. Ha - I finally had so many hexie shapes and sizes that I went & bought small 3 drawer units at Dollar General to sort them all. Can't lose them now unless I don't put them away ... and, of course, that never happens.

  8. Hey Angie- FYI, Fiskars makes paper punches in 1/2", 3/4', and 1" that are exact matches for the paper pieces templates. Available at larger Joann's and Michaels stores, and possibly Hobby Lobby too. I have no Hobby Lobby near me, so I can't confirm that one, but the other two are a definite, I bought mine there. I use blank 3 by 5 index cards and get 8 (1/2") hexies from each, for a total of 800 hexies for 99 cents... yay!

  9. I'm happy to report I found my missing pack of EPP hexies. Yeah, I can make more again. I'm definitely going to look into Sandie's suggestion.

All Comes to A Halt

Sighhhh....  While I was quilting I  ran my finger, somehow, under the needle. Went right through my left index fingernail right through to...
